when I was extermely distraught…during my divorce….trying to escape. Hating reality. Once I met a man with a big smile on his face. He had the deepest tan. I sat down next to him at the only “free beach” in New Jersey…..He was very handsome and content….long flowing blonde curls against his shoulders. No shirt. No cares. He told me that he spent the last four years of his life living on the beach in Hawaii….a one way ticket….Surfing, partying and when he needed money a little side job. Everything just seemes to “come to you in Hawaii” He slept on the beach. He told me all these stories of woman, sex, exotic wines and beers……of riding the big waves into golden sunsets…..he moved me….I realized what life should really be about.
