He is in washington state now and leaves for Iraq in April&#8230;.&#8221; In my words: At Grants wedding&#8230;..my greatest talk was with Larry about his experience in Iraq&#8230;&#8230;and not how frightened he was to be there and the missions he went on&#8230;&#8230;.but what it did to him emotionally when he got home&#8230;.and how it affected him and Bernadette, his job and family. A family Blog certainly isn&#8217;t a place to express political views or my opinion on anything of that nature. I don&#8217;t know Matt&#8230;I never met him. I can see so much of Larry in him&#8230;.but he is JUST A KID. My greatest tool of gratitude is that by the time I get to my night job in New York&#8230;I have access to every newspaper laying around&#8230;.I don&#8217;t know how I feel about Iraq anymore but I know that ALOT of people are dying horrible deaths. I find gratitude that I woke up today&#8230;.I have every limb&#8230;.I can see&#8230;..I can feel&#8230;.the snow is falling right now&#8230;.there is such peace&#8230;our streets and cities are not being bombed&#8230;.we are free&#8230;..only because of kids like Matt.
