Entry for June 27, 2006 The worse digital nightmare

..happened. A hard drive crash is a huge loss. And it couldn’t have happened at a worse time on the drive where most of my personal stuff is kept. 3 months of photos, work, experiments….etc etc….and some FT web stuff. I kept meaning to back the stuff up…..another lesson learned…..too late. As frustrating as it is to lose the web stuff….I had some nice photos of my boys…….gone…….forever. It is so permanent…a hard drive crash…..like a death…..so I quess crying is ok.
