A couple of weeks ago, Barb persuaded me to go on this bike trail in Hunderton County NJ. I have been biking with my boys down the shore in Allaire State Park, the last year or so and I thought that I had found THE best bike trail.
This trail was beyond amazing. We biked along the Great Gorge canal and ended up on a trail on a moutain looking down at the canal.
The smell of the peatmoss and fresh air, the views, the sun breaking through the trees….I was in awe. I can’t wait to take the boys!!! I have been snapping hundreds of photos in NYC the last few years…so it was a great thing for my camera to focus on soft bubbling streams, trees instead of skyscrapers and grass and rocks instead of concrete. A great escape with a great sister.
At this time I want to thank Joe Hoffman for the awesome photos that he took while he and Belinda were in Ohio. I felt like this web site had been “cheating” on the Ohio gang. Thank God, I have Gary and his wonderful camera in Florida and the recent trip there with Susan has tightened our relationships with them somewhat.
These photos by Joe are just JOYOUS! Your children are beautiful!!!!! I was thrilled to post these photos…my heart leaped. My favorites are Brittani with Joe, Rebecca and Jim sleeping in the chair…..and Brooke dancing in the air…..AWESOME.
As for this bike ride….I had a hard time keeping up to this 50 year old soon-to-be-GRANDMA…..check out that photo….does she look like a Grandma to you????
