Soon we surrounded by lovers swaying back and forth. We did a little flip and under at the end. A woman came around selling roses and her selling point was a scam—you HAVE to buy the lady a rose. (That’s the kind of business, I want to own) Even though I will never see this woman again, I bought her a rose. We had one soda each and the night ended with a quick solitary kiss outside her car.
The thing about this whole stupid story is that, at the time, I was in a good space with the Spirits. I was very level-headed and sober. I think because of this, God truly heard my cry of loneliness.
