If you only go through this world once I am blessed to come from a large family. For all my siblings as different as you are in every way….we will always be one. We are blessed to never have been spoiled. Sometimes we had to fight for even the most basic things. Blessed for all the chaos and dysfunction…I am a survivor…..we are survivors in the greatest sense of the word.
Was Thanksgiving a good memory for you? Mom always made sure we had plenty of food.
Do you remember watching the Macys parade on TV? The black and white March of the Wooden Soilders on channel 11 every Thanksgiving?
Fighting over the crispy turkey skin. That long white table filled with food. I miss you all.

I am blessed to have a second chance – and sometimes a third chance – to do things right. I am blessed to see other people also trying to rectify wrongs of the past and make a new life. I am blessed to be a part of helping others to do what I have had the opportunity to do.
Peace.

In the olden days, when someone else was in my life, the holidays (any one) meant fighting & arguing & if I was really lucky… throwing things. It took me a long time to realize this is not how I want to live my life; this is not how I want my children to remember what is supposed to be a happy time. I am thankful I had the courage to make a change. Now my children want to spend the holidays wih me so we can make some wonderful memories & live out the traditions we have decided to keep.
In a week, our backyard will look like a commune! I am thankful for tents & dogs & kids & fishing poles & a burning fire & lots of food. I am thankful for a family that you love & (can sometimes) get on your nerves & are there when you need them but most of all I am thankful for when everyone leaves & we get our home back to normal!
Happy Turkey Day to everyone! If you have a tent….. come on down. We are FAMOUS for our Thanksgiving weekends!

I am thankful that I have a beautiful five year old we loves me as much as I love my mother. She is the best thing that ever happened in my life. She is a blessing. I pray for her future with the world that it is today. I try to be a good example and pray that we can break the chain of addition. I love you Brittani Joan Axelson have a wonderful birthday.
